The extraordinary rise of Vietnam in all aspects since the late 80’s and early 90’s has been an inspiration to Chris. Experiencing this phenomenon as a guest throughout has been a privilege. Below is a selection of activities that I have been part of since early ‘90s till now.

• Arrived in Vietnam as country representative of a global trading enterprise in agricultural bulk commodities such as rice, vegetable oils, soya beans, actively linking Vietnam with destinations and origins on the 5 continents and engaging in local food processing.

• Partner of the management company of the first private investment fund dedicated to Vietnam responsible for projects that contributed to its development.

• Co-founder and Chairman for various years of the Dutch Business Association Vietnam.

• Co-founder, Board Member, Director of the European Chamber of Commerce (EuroCham), the prominent advocacy association in Vietnam today.

• CEO for the sale, purchase, development, construction, licensing, legal and governance aspects of hospitality projects in Vietnam.

• Conceptualisation, Joint Venture establishment and CEO of the first highly efficient biogas full circular energy system in Vietnam.

• Renewable Energy project development of various project throughout Vietnam, working with a selection of top tier foreign and local investors and power off-takers.

• Decarbonisation with focus on designing and implementing Net-Zero pathways through Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy,  advanced software applications and CO2 reduction and administrative management for internal and external reporting and certifications.
