Accomplished Global Green Energy Expert in the Net Zero techno-economic facets of Energy Management and Renewable Energy Design in Greenfield and Brownfield projects. 

  • Francis won the Australian National Energy Award for the design, construction and operation of 30 remote area power supplies that utilise both LPG and diesel fueled generator. 

  • Francis won Engineers Australia Innovation Award for the design, construction and operation of the 920kW LPG gas power station at Couran Cove Island Resort. Francis was contracted to operate the power station for 5 years. 

  • Francis was the Study Leader for the Dak Lak 1 & 2 Net Zero Pathway Consultancy and has an in-depth knowledge of the Dak Lak 1 & 2 operations. 

  • Francis is committed to Vietnam’s Just Energy Transition and sees that by partnering with De Heus, Dak Lak 1 & 2 operation could set the showcase project to provide national, regional and global leadership on the use of biogas productively.

  • Francis has led over 60 award winning industrial green energy projects for global multi-national projects including Rio Tinto, Anglo American and BHP Billiton. 

  • With a background as an Electrical Contractor, Control Systems Technician, Francis has distinguished himself as a visionary in the field of green energy, particularly through his leadership in high-impact projects within the mining and smelting sectors. At Anglo American Platinum's Rustenburg Smelter Complex in South Africa, Francis led the development of a comprehensive Net Zero energy strategy. This initiative not only replaced significant amounts of grid electricity, coal, and LPG with biogas-based energy solutions but also resulted in substantial cost savings, demonstrating the profitability of sustainable practices. His strategic management led to an annual reduction of 2.2 million tons in carbon emissions, significantly advancing the company's environmental goals.
