  • The Brisbane International Airport funded the development of an Energy and Carbon Reduction Plan for the international and domestic airport were annual energy costs were at US$8M.

Goals & Objectives

  • The primary objective was to develop an Energy and Carbon Reduction Plan for the international and domestic airport with a target electricity and gas reduction goal of 25%. The Energy and Carbon Reduction Plan will develop an Energy Model of the “As Is” and “To Be” condition and address Quick Win (Capital <$50,000), Short Term (less than 2 year paybacks) and Longer Term (2 year longer paybacks) energy saving interventions.
